The world of the Bees
The little ones will get to know the fantastic world of bees, the production of honey and its organoleptic properties. The educational path is oriented to the knowledge of the bees, with particular attention to the tools used by the beekeeper (didactic apiary, suit, mask, gloves, smoker, door swarms, canvases, small drawers, levers, wax sheets, propolis). The secrets of the Campaign
The workshop is designed so that children can rediscover an integral part of nature through direct contact and learn to know the balance that regulates agro-systems through the game, observation and the arrangement of the senses. They will be able to know the rhythms and the cycles of the campaign and the importance of the Mediterranean diet, the environmental protection through play activities related to the knowledge of the territory and respect for nature, develop the aesthetic sense increasing the knowledge of itself in the relationship with the outside world .

At school in the vegetable garden with the farmer
To learn how to recognize the smells, flavors and aromas of nature (aromatherapy and taste therapy workshops). With us, the children will plant seedlings in the garden and will discover together with our educators the world of composting with a stop in the area of natural fertilization.
With your hands in the dough
Following the old traditional recipes handed down by grandmother Angela, the children will make "old-fashioned biscuits": cudduredde, 'ntrizze, niuretti and' nuzudde. That will be fired and ... devoured!
Olive trees, olives and their transformations
The children can learn about the olive plants, the traditional methods of cultivation, the cold pressing and the transformation into oil. It will be shown how olives can also be used in other conservations. There will be a lesson-game on the further use of the olives harvested: alive a mmoddu, alive in suppressu, driven out alive, passuluni and finally the realization of good house soap.
The art of clay
This activity aims to encourage, through play and meeting with a ceramist, the knowledge of an art typical of our area (Patti, terra di ceramica), and with the stimulation of creativity, children will be helped to realize the decorations on terracotta objects. From this workshop the children will develop considerable creative skills and will give free rein to the imagination.
